Celebration of the Sacrament of Matrimony requires advanced planning and scheduling. St. Anthony of Padua Parish and the Archdiocese offer several methods of preparation based on the needs of each couple. Please contact the Parish Office at least six months in advance of the desired wedding date so that arrangements can be made. Please note that weddings are not held at St. Anthony’s during the Church seasons of Lent, Advent or Christmas. We ask that you invite a Priest or Deacon of your choice to prepare you and to officiate at your wedding. Your priest/deacon will fill out all of the necessary paperwork and will assist you in planning your wedding ceremony in conjunction with the guidelines of the Catholic Church and the Diocese of St. Louis.
